PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make graspable the problems of the specific characteristics of products with reduced time and labor systematically, rapidly and accurately. PSOLUTION: S1 is a quality characteristics inputting process and searches parts associated with the specific characteristics inputted from a quality characteristics data base in a part-searching process S3. S5 is a production line searching process and searches the production line of function blocks using the related parts. S7 is an editing process, reads hierarchical data on all of the parts constituting the function blocks from hierarchical data base 7, extracts related parts from the data thus read, and deletes unrelated parts from the hierarchical data. Thus, the systematic figure of the quality characteristics is obtained by rearranging and editing the parts associated with the specific characteristics in accordance with the hierarchical compositions of the products.
