PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide each predicted value and each actual status value of earthquake and tsunami, respectively and intelligibly, by interconnecting the information on the earthquake and the tsunami occurrence which is anticipated, in connection with the earthquake.;SOLUTION: A monitoring device for the earthquake and the tsunami prediction and real status 1 comprises a real-time earthquake information input part 2; a real-time earthquake processing part 13 which calculates a predicted earthquake hitting time and a predicted seismic intensity scale in an objective point, before a principal motion of the earthquake reaches the objective point; a real-time tsunami processing part 14 which calculates the existence of the arrival of the tsunami at the objective point, with the predicted tsunami hitting time and the predicted tsunami wave height at the objective point, based on the real time earthquake information; an actual status information input part 4 which inputs the measured seismic intensity, and the tsunami wave height value or the earthquake and tsunami actual status data in the objective point; an information output part 7 which outputs by a comparison the prediction information of the earthquake and the tsunami, obtained from the real time earthquake processing part and the real time tsunami processing part with the actual status information of the earthquake and the tsunami, obtained from an actual status information processing part 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
