[PROBLEMS] To provide a method, a program and a data processing system for effectively operating a display object shape including a content display region. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Provided is a method for modifying a display object shape including a content display region on a display device. The method includes: a step for displaying a display object including a content display region on the display device; a step for prompting a user to input a shape for the content display region on the display device; a step for forming a shape which can be formed by the content display region according to the shape inputted by the user; and a step for modifying the display object shape according to the formed shape.
