PURPOSE: An optimal automatic question selection method is provided to prevent the increase of question selection time on an online test although the number of questions increases and to select optimum candidate questions according to the question making policy.;CONSTITUTION: An optimal automatic question selection method comprises the steps of storing the predicted correct answer rate of each question according to degree in a question pool database(S100), providing selected questions to a user terminal through the internet(S110), receiving the answers to the questions of each degree in a web server from the user terminal, performing scoring by a scoring system and calculating the actual correct answer rate according to degree(S130), receiving the actual correct answer rate in an optimal automatic question selection system and calculating a predicted error by comparing the actual correct answer rate with a predicted correct answer rate(S140), maintaining or changing the predicted correct answer rate according to degree and storing it in the question pool database(S150), reducing the counter of each question number by 1 and repeating the above steps(S160), and selecting questions corresponding to the overall target correct answer rate(S180).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
