The device (1) has a cover hermetically connected with a fluid-impermeable casing via rubber seals or sleeves. The casing, cover and a fluid-impermeable covering jacket (2) are arranged in such a manner that a leaking fluid (6) is fed to a central collection container (7). A shut-off device e.g. fluid interruption system (8), for a fluid flow is activated by the fluid collected in the container. The collected fluid is fed to an intended draining pipe. The jacket and/or the casing and/or the cover are made from a flexible water impermeable fiber material i.e. transparent material.
