The system has a mobile unit (1) i.e. vehicle key, with an integrated bistabile display element (3), for static representation of information, which are transferable to the mobile unit from a stationary unit (2). Control electrodes (4) are provided as fixed components of the stationary unit for transferring the information to the display element. A control electronic circuit (5) is a fixed component of the stationary unit for controlling of the control electrodes. The display element is formed by an electrophoretic display element or by cholesteric LCD.
