The system has an apochromatic immersion objective with an operating distance of specific range. The objective includes a lens group (G1) consisting of a meniscus lens (L1) or a cemented element, a lens (L2) with positive refractive power, and another cemented element. Another lens group (G2) includes a cemented element composed of two lenses (L6, L7), where one of the two lenses (L6, L7) is made of glass with abnormal partial dispersion. A third lens group (G3) includes a lens (L8) with positive refractive power and cemented elements according to a type of a double gauss structure.
