The arrangement has a mobile transmitting- and receiving-unit (5) formed for wireless sending and receiving of signals (6-8). A quasi-stationary transmitting- and receiving-unit (2) is arranged in or at a motor vehicle (1). The unit (5) transmits position information to the unit (2), where the position information is derived from level information. The unit (2) comprises a device that determines relative position of the unit (5) in relation to transmitting- and receiving-antennas (3, 4) from the level information, which is contained in the received signal (8), or the position information. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining a position of a mobile transmitting and receiving unit concerning a vehicle.
