The method involves cutting a sentence into words, and identifying each word based on grammatical nature. The nature is recomposed using an expert system to define grammatical elements, where the elements corresponding to a subject, verb and complement are stored. A data base (B1) i.e. client data base, comprising specific application computer data is interrogated to retrieve a list of words corresponding to characteristics of the sentence using a dictionary to find words. A response sentence comprising the verb and response elements is formulated and transmitted to a user. An independent claim is also included for a device for establishing an open natural language dialogue between a user and computing system, comprising a storage unit.
