摘要

The method involves transmitting predetermined signals by a two dimensional network (R) of ultrasonic sensors (4), where the network has non null horizontal aperture. Response signals are captured by the network for obtaining time response matrix of a liquid medium (1). A frequency transfer matrix corresponding to the time response matrix is determined. A time Reversal Operator corresponding to the transfer matrix is determined. Vectors and values of the operator are determined. Singularity in the medium is detected based on the vectors and values. An independent claim is also included for an acoustic detection device comprising a central electronic unit.
