PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network music teaching system wherein, when a teacher asks a question of multiple choices such as YES/NO, a student can answer the question by using an MIDI musical instrument.;SOLUTION: A student terminal 3 is provided with an MIDI keyboard, and the content of performance by the student is transmitted to a teacher terminal 1 via a server 2 to be evaluated by the teacher. The evaluation is transmitted from the teacher terminal 1 to the student terminal 3 via the server 2. When the teacher asks a question of multiple choices, an answer operator corresponding to each choice is assigned to a key of the MIDI keyboard. When the student operates the key of the MIDI keyboard, the key operation is converted into an answer message to the effect that the choice corresponding to the key is chosen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
