Liquid for preventing tissue adhesion and method of preventing tissue adhesion using trehalose

Disclosed is the use of trehalose in a solution for tissue adhesion prevention, such as in surgery. Disclosed is the prevention of tissue and organ damage during surgery that would expose them to open air, such as tissue adhesion, by applying a solution which contains trehalose. A water solution of trehalose may be sprayed onto organs during a surgical procedure to prevent dehydration. The solution may include other agents suitable for the same purpose which are described in the specification.
