METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ACUTE BLEEDING FROM GASTRIC ULCER DEPENDING ON GASTRIN LEVEL IN BLOOD SERUM

A method for the surgical treatment of the acute bleeding from gastric ulcer depending on gastrin level in blood serum comprises the segmental gastric resection sparing the innervated pylorus and generating suprapyloric gastroanastomosis. The level of the antral cut depends on the gastrin level in blood serum: When the level is low ( 50 pg/mL), the antral division is cut suprapylorically at the distance of 4 cm from the intact pylorus. When the level is normal or moderately increased (50-100 pg/mL), antral division is cut at the distance of 3 cm, and when the level is high (100-150 pg/mL) 2 cm from the intact pylorus.
