PURPOSE: A self-sensing ionic polymer-metal composite actuator is provided to control the strain without a separate sensor by measuring an electric signal between first and second sensing electrodes and changing the voltage according to the measured electric signal.;CONSTITUTION: A self-sensing ionic polymer-metal composite actuator comprises a driving unit(120) and a sensing unit(130). The driving unit comprises first and second driving electrodes(121a,121b) which are located opposite to each other.
