PURPOSE: A digital camera having an optical pointing device for more rapidly embodying the various functions of a digital camera is provided to satisfy the various requests and implement convenient use by applying the light pointing device.;CONSTITUTION: A pickup unit(20) is included in the front side of a camera body(10). A display screen(30) is included in the back side of the camera body. A memory stores the image recording through the charge coupled device. A light pointing device(60) is included in the camera body. The light pointing device is created the pointer in the display screen in order to operate camera.
