PURPOSE: A control data transmission method, a controlled device, a remote control mediation device, an universal remote control device, a server, and a remote control system thereof are provided to easily and conveniently set control code about the controlled device, thereby controlling a plurality of controlled devices.;CONSTITUTION: A storage(110) stores control data for controlling a controlled device. A control unit(130) searches control data corresponding to a control signal from the storage based on the control signal received from a remote control device. If the control data is not searched, the control unit searches the control data from an external server and extracts the searched control data.
