A method for verifying indirect methods evaluating total amounts of tropospheric ozone from total ozone measured by satellite is provided to improve the limit of conventional verification methods by using carbon monoxide data or nitrogen dioxide data measured through an artificial satellite. A method for verifying indirect methods evaluating total amounts of tropospheric ozone from total ozone measured by satellite comprises the steps of: selecting any one data distribution of carbon monoxide data distribution or nitrogen dioxide data distribution by regions and times of the atmosphere measured through an artificial satellite; extracting the ozone data by regions and times by selecting any one data extraction method; distributing both ozone data extracted by an indirect ozone extraction method or any one data distribution of carbon monoxide data distribution or nitrogen dioxide data distribution, by using singular value decomposition; determining the correlation of data distribution by comparing distribution by regions and times.
