Gastric juice-resistant oral pharmaceutical formulation (I) comprises omeprazole, an alkaline salt of omeprazole, an enantiomer of omeprazole or an alkaline salt of an enantiomer of omeprazole, where a separating layer between an active substance and coating contains a polyvinyl alcohol-polyethylene glycol graft copolymer and/or optionally modified pea starch. An independent claim is included for a process for preparing solid oral dosage form containing omeprazole, an alkaline salt of omeprazole, an enantiomer of omeprazole or an alkaline salt of an enantiomer of omeprazole provided with a gastric juice-resistant coating, comprising applying the active substance optionally with additives to a core and providing with a separating layer comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-polyethylene glycol graft copolymer and/or optionally modified pea starch coating and finally with a gastric juice-resistant coating containing cellulose acetate phthalate, hydroxymethyl cellulose, methacrylic acid/methyl methacrylate copolymer and/or shellac.
