Extraction of active substances from the group of anthraquinone and phenols and/or polyphenols from a plant, where the new plant variety Igniscum (CPVO 2007/0149) or Candy (CPVO 2007/1958) registered to the variety protection is requisitioned as a plant. Independent claims are included for: (1) the raw material preferably the active substance group of the anthraquinone phenols or polyphenols, extracted from a plant, where the raw material is emodin and/or physcion, which is obtained from the new plant variety Igniscum (CPVO 2007/0149) or from the new plant variety Candy (CPVO 2007/1958); (2) a pesticide or plant auxiliary material, which is emodin and/or physcion; and (3) the plant auxiliary material containing the grist of the rhizomes and/or the stem and/or the leaves of the plant variety Igniscum (CPVO 2007/0149) or Candy (CPVO 2007/1958), with a fineness of the ground material with a particle size of less than 1 mm.
