The model (1) has a hull comprising an upper hull frame (2A) and a lower hull frame. An air chamber partly encloses the lower hull. Multiple buoyancy bodies i.e. inflatable elastic hollow bodies such as rubber hoses, are provided in the air chamber. The air chamber comprises an outer wall (5) made of an elastic material. Plates are arranged in the outer wall of the air chamber for receiving the buoyancy bodies. The buoyancy bodies are made of a material e.g. foamed material, polystyrene or wood, which has a smaller density than water.
