The unit (10) has three fixation points, where two fixation points of the three points are located on a center pillar of a vehicle i.e. three-door motor vehicle, and the third fixation point secures a passenger on a front seat (1). The seat has a base (2) and a backrest (3) that is locked in a utilization position by a locking device, where the unit maintains a three-point safety belt in proximity to the seat when the belt is slipped from the third fixation point. A control unit is connected to the locking device to lock the unit in the utilization position when the locking device is active.
