The system (30) has a heat exchanger (31) i.e. gas cooler, exchanging heat between charging gases of a super charged heat engine and a heat transfer fluid e.g. cooling fluid (100), where the heat transfer fluid is constituted by a fluid refrigerant (1) of an air-conditioning circuit. The fluid refrigerant is placed in an inlet of the heat exchanger. An outlet (113) of the fluid refrigerant of air-conditioning circuit is connected to an inlet (311) of the heat exchanger. A condenser (11) is connected to a cooling circuit (110) of the fluid refrigerant.
