PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal for detecting the living behavior of a user. PSOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes: a movement sensor that detects the movement of a user and outputs movement information; a current location acquisition part that acquires information on the current location; a building information acquisition part that acquires information on buildings located at the location acquired by the current location acquisition part or information on buildings located at and near the current location; a first behavior detection part that analyzes movement information output from the movement sensor and detects a first behavior pattern corresponding to the movement information from multiple first behavior patterns obtained by classifying behaviors of the user in a relatively short period of time; and a second behavior detection part that analyses the information on buildings acquired by the building information acquisition part and the first behavior pattern detected by the first behavior detection part and detects a second behavior pattern corresponding to the information on buildings and the first behavior pattern from multiple second behavior patterns obtained by classifying behaviors of the user in a relatively long period of time.
