PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To learn and recognize a locus in time-space while improving accuracy.;SOLUTION: In a locus learning and recognizing apparatus for learning and recognizing a moving locus by a method based on a hidden Markov model (HMM), a level building method, determination based on a distance, a length and a label point, a threshold model, and a support vector machine are used to suppress reduction in the learning and recognition of the HMM when an excessive change is included in an input moving locus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
