PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublimation refining apparatus suitable for a sublimation and refining of an organic compound (in particular, chelate complex compound such as Alq₃ showing an electroluminescence).;SOLUTION: The sublimation refining apparatus comprises a heat-resistant glass cylindrical body in which an inert gas feed port is provided on the lower part, and an inert gas discharge spout on the upper part, a vessel of the organic compound sublimation-targeted, held in the inner lower part of the cylindrical body, a thermally-conductive clad tube arranged on the periphery of the cylindrical body so as to cover the surround of the vessel and extend upward, a heating tool installed on a part covering the surround of the vessel in the clad tube, and a multiple-stage sublimation plate comprising three or more circular or polygonal plates which are arranged in a stepwise form respectively with intervals, and mutually in a parallel positional relation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
