PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method capable of decomposing dioxins under mild conditions excellent as industrial process without needs of any special reacting conditions or chemical agents.;SOLUTION: The method of decomposing the dioxins is carried out by bringing the substance containing dioxins into contact with a basic aqueous solution under the co-existence of a non-ionic ligand capable of forming a complex with a cation and/or a hydrophobic salt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
