PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ITO particles which have high conductivity and hardly causes the deterioration with time in electric conductivity even when it is allowed to stand in the atmosphere.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the ITO powder comprises dissolving a water-soluble Sn salt and water-soluble In salt into water in a prescribed ratio, preparing an ITO precursor hydroxide by adding a neutralizing agent to the resultant solution, preparing ITO particles by firing the precursor hydroxide under an inert gas or a reducing gas atmosphere at ≥250°C to ≤1,000°C, and treating the resultant ITO particles at a temperature of 200°C or lower under an oxygen atmosphere of ≤3.0 vol% oxygen concentration, to prepare an objective ITO power.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
