PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field stabilizer, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, and a method of stabilizing a magnetic field for minimizing the effect of variation of temperature of a permanent magnet and achieving the stabilized strength of the magnetic field. SOLUTION: The resonance frequency of the permanent magnet 1 is measured by using a small-sized phantom 20, and based on the resonance frequency, a temperature control part 32 controls a heater power source 33 to control the temperature of the permanent magnet 1 inside a horizontal yoke 5. Therefore, the resonance frequency becomes constant, so that the magnetic field space is stabilized.
