EPOXY BASED COATING COMPOSITION, COATED METAL SUBSTRATE, PROCESS FOR COATING A METAL SUBSTRATE, DOUBLE LAYERING SYSTEM FOR A METAL SUBSTRATE, AND ZINC OXIDE, AND BASE COMPOUND USES Epoxy. An epoxy based base coating composition comprising at least 10% dry w / w zinc oxide solids is described. A coated metal substrate is also described comprising a metal substrate, at least one epoxy based base coat layer, the base coat layer comprising at least 10% w / w zinc oxide in the dry base coat, and at least least one topcoat adhered to the basecoat layer. A process of coating a metal substrate is also described.
