METHODS FOR PRECIPITING AND SUSTAINING FLAME-FREE COMBUSTION AND CONVERTING CONVENTIONAL COMBUSTION FOR FLAME-FREE COMBUSTION, AND APPLIANCE AND SYSTEM FOR PRECIPITING AND KEEPING FLAME-FREE COMBUSTION. A system, apparatus and method by which flameless combustion is precipitated and maintained in a combustion chamber having a surface that is either convex, concave, rectilinear or any combination thereof without the need for high temperature catalysts or oxidizers. The apparatus allows the combustion chamber to operate in a conventional combustion mode and a flameless combustion mode. The method provides hot air and combustible gas for both to be inserted before mixing while their mixing temperatures are within the range of 537.80 198 C (10000 198 F) to 760.00 198 C ( 14000 (F). Inert hot air and inert fuel gas flow side by side along the inner surface of the chamber so that the two gases mix more evenly, thus allowing smoldering combustion at lower temperatures, resulting in low NOx emissions.
