A method for prediction of aseptical bone necrosis in systemic lupus erythematosus comprises the consideration of the forces of pain syndrome in the joint. When combined with strong pain in the joints and high activity of interleukins IL-1, IL-6, TNF-alpha the appearance of aseptic necrosis is predicted.
