PURPOSE: A monitoring method and monitoring device of multi-span beam using average strain is provided to monitor the stability of entire structure based on the slack and reaction state. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring method and monitoring device of multi-span beam using average strain is as follows. A physical properties value of a supporting member for supporting a beam and step is input(S1). The first function of the slack and moment applied between the supporting members is obtained using physical properties value using the input physical properties value. A second function of the slack and moment applied in the connection part between the supporting member and beam(S2). The moment of the beam is computed by using the relations of the slack degree and reaction force actuating on supporting member and the second function of moment(S3).
