DIAGNOSIS OF MDR-TB BY DIRECT SUSCEPTIBILITY TEST FROM SMEAR POSITIVE SPUTUM

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing MDR-TB by direct susceptibility test from smear positive sputum is provided to reduce diagnosis time and use cheap ogawa medium. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing MDR-TB by direct susceptibility test from smear positive sputum comprises a step of directly inoculating sputum to ogawa medium containing anti-tubercular drugs. The anti-tubercular drugs are isoniazid(INH), PNB(para-nitrobenzoic acid), and rifampicin(RMP).
