The flange (1) has an electronic module (2) i.e. semi-passive and/or active radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder, formed of an integrated circuit chip and an antenna. The electronic module is electromagnetically coupled with an amplifying antenna by inductive and/or capacitive coupling, where the electronic module comprises an internal battery. The electronic micro-module uses RFID based technology that conforms to Electronic Product Code (EPC)standard and/or Near Field Communication (NFC)standard. The flange is made of dielectric material and/or electrically insulator material e.g. plastic, polymer, monomer, epoxy, organic, mineral, crystalline glass or sapphire, corundum, spinel, silicon, ceramics or synthesis material.
