The air condenser (1) has upwardly directed tube bundles for condensing steam, where the tube bundles form two circumferential side walls (3, 4) of a cell (2). The tube bundles form a polygon with sides extended in a vertical manner, where a fan (7) is arranged above the polygon. The side walls include an angle that is smaller than 90 degrees and a set of air-tight side walls (5, 6) is provided. One of the air-tight side walls extends over a smaller circumferential region. A steam distribution pipeline runs above the cell.
