The system has a communication interface transmitting meter data to a central computerized unit (1) i.e. power supply, and receiving data from the central computerized unit. A consumer identification unit dynamically identifies information of the consumer. An electricity meter (3) is formed by a separating device to release or interrupt the power supply based on the received data of the central computerized unit and the consumer assigned data. The consumer identification unit and a power consumption device are arranged in a partially, structurally contiguous manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying power to a power consumption unit connected to an electricity meter system.
