Phone number history research system and method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an investigation system for telephone number history and a method for searching a moving source telephone number of a most recent telephone number in a short period of time, as compared to those of prior art.;SOLUTION: History information for the most recent telephone number that matches an investigation number received from a terminal 10 by a server is read from a telephone number history database 16, and on the condition that the actual presence period of the most recent telephone number be shorter than a predetermined period of time, a relocation information database 18 is accessed, to specify a relocation source telephone number of a move destination telephone number matching the investigation number from relocation information. The actual presence period of the relocation source telephone number is calculated from the history information in the telephone number history database 16, a linked actual presence period, linked with the actual presence period of the most recent telephone number that matches the investigation number is calculated and output, and the linked actual presence period is sent back to the terminal 10 via a communication section 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
