PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring apparatus or the like which can measure a distance with high precision.;SOLUTION: An optical sensor section 51 of a distance measuring section 14 has two optical sensor arrays. The optical sensor section 51 receives light from a chart image projected onto a screen 2 by the two optical sensor arrays, respectively, and acquires the pixel data of the chart image formed by the received light. A distance measuring processing section 52 acquires the pixel data of the chart image from the optical sensor section 51 and acquires a standard deviation value as an indicator indicating fluctuations in the pixel data. The distance measuring processing section 52 converts the pixel data acquired from the optical sensor section 51 into an indicator which improves the accuracy of distance calculation for each optical sensor array with the acquired standard deviation value, acquires a phase difference on the basis of the converted pixel data, and measures the distance to the screen 2 on the basis of the acquired phase difference.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
