PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion apparatus capable of diffusing dried particulate-like material in a substantially uniform state, without enlarging the apparatus. PSOLUTION: A placing part 2a for placing a mass S of particulate-like material and a round stepped vibrating plate 3 with the emission axis of ultrasound arranged toward the placing part 2a are arranged in a closed space A of a diffusion bottle 1. The round stepped vibrating plate 3 is vibrated, and ultrasound is emitted toward the mass S of particulate-like material placed on the placing part 2a, and the particulate-like material is diffused.
