PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service management system for efficiently providing proper service for an object.;SOLUTION: A cell-phone 1 transmits position information showing a current position of the cell-phone 1 as a location of a target device 5 to a server 3 together with device information of the target device 5, and reserves a date and time for the service. The server 3 requires the current position of the cell-phone 1 a prescribed time before the reserved date and time, compares the obtained position information showing the current position with the position information transmitted from the cell-phone 1 when the reservation is made, and decides whether the positions are within a prescribed range or not.
