The invention refers to a virus strain of porcine circovirus type 2 Jalisco subtype, isolated in the state of Jalisco and multiplied in the VERO cell substrate (cells of African green monkey). The invention consists in the elaboration of an inactivated vaccine against Porcine Circovirus, which is based on the adaptation of the Porcine Circovirus type 2, Jalisco subtype virus to be multiplied in the VERO cell line, by carrying out 3 blind passages and 5 consecutive passages for reaching the title of 1 X 105.5 DICC50%/mL.
