A method for prediction of progress of abdominal obesity at which in children as predictors of insulin resistance in blood serum on empty stomach one measures concentrations of free fat acids and FNP-, then one calculates the ratio of the values obtained and progress of abdominal obesity is predicted at value of the ratio 40 a.u. and higher.
