It has been found that a mouthrinse comprising CPC and zinc ions is a veryeffective mouthrinse. It has an antibacterial effect that removes odorcreating bacteria from the oral cavity. The CPC and zinc ions preferably areused in combination with an ionone terpene such as alpha ionone or a betaionone.
