Disclosed is a wastewater zero discharge process for preparing epoxyphenylethane, which comprises: 1) bromo-alcoholizing styrene in the presence of an aqueous solution of a bromide salt, an acid and an oxidant at the temperature of -15~150℃, standing, and obtaining Wastewater Ⅰ and Oil Layer Ⅰ; 2) saponifying the Oil Layer Ⅰ by adding an alkali solution, separating the mixture to obtain Oil Layer Ⅱ containing epoxyphenylethane and Wastewater Ⅱ, and rectifying the Oil Layer Ⅱ to obtain finished epoxyphenylethane product; 3) modulating the concentration of the Wastewater Ⅱ mostly containing the bromide salt to 5~50% by adding the bromide salt, and then reusing it in the bromo-alcoholization of the first step; separating salts from the Wastewater Ⅰ; and reusing the remaining wastewater to formulate the solutions used in the bromo-alcoholization. The oxidant used in step 1) is one or more oxidants, or their solution, which satisfy the following conditions: the oxidation product is water, or salt or organic matter which is easy to remove.
