PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for separating solid and liquid from solid/liquid suspension are provided to improve permeability to a phenol filtering solution and solid breakthrough characteristic by using the fiber filter-cloth of polyether ether ketone or fluorine-containing ethylene copolymer.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for separating solid and liquid from solid/liquid suspension includes an activated filtering layer. The activated filtering layer includes textile materials with warp thread and weft thread. The textile materials are formed based on synthetic fiber. The synthetic fiber is selected from a group including ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, polytetrafluoroethylene, and polyether ether ketone.
