A CONTROL UNIT HAVING REAL-TIME SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTIONS FOR DIGITAL SAFETY SYSTEMS OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

PURPOSE: A control device with a real time diagnosing function of a nuclear power generator digital safety system is provided to diagnose robustness of major circuit devices in real time which configure a digital control module used in a nuclear power generator safety system. CONSTITUTION: A memory stores a program or data in a memory area. A processor(110) processes the program or data stored in the memory. A programmable logic device(120) diagnoses the robustness of the memory and the processor. A central processing device controls a nuclear power generator digital safety system according to whether the memory and the processor are robust. The programmable logic device includes a mirror memory comparator function unit.
