A NOVEL COMPOUND ISOLATED FROM KAEMPFERIA PANDURATA ROX AND USE OF THE SAME AS ANTIVIRAL AGENT

PURPOSE: A novel compound separated from black zingiberis and an antiviral agent containing the same are provided to show inhibition abilities of high pathogenic virus, thereby being used as candidate materials which can be used as antiviral agent. CONSTITUTION: A novel compound separated from black zingiberis is represented by chemical formula 1. A method for obtaining the compound of the chemical formula 1 comprises the following steps: processing the black Zingiberis with an organic solvent; and obtaining a compound of the chemical formula 1 from the organic solvent extract. The organic solvent is butanol. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating viral diseases includes a compound of the chemical formula 1 and pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound. The viral disease is influenza viral diseases. A feed composition includes the compound of the chemical formula 1. The feed composition is used for preventing or treating viral diseases. The feed composition includes butanol extract of the black Zingiberis as an active ingredient.
