PURPOSE: A method for producing seed pellets of riparian trees and a method for cultivating trees using the same are provided to reduce expense for cultivation and management. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing seed pellets of riparian trees is as follows. Seed pellets of riparian trees are pre-treated by dipping the pellets in a polyethylene glycol or potassium chloride solution. A coating material is manufactured by mixing gypsum, diatomite, dalma ceramic, and Vermiculite. The pre-treated seed pellets of riparian trees is put into the rotary plate of a pelletizer, the coating material and an adhesive are poured into the rotary plate, the seeds are coated, and firstly coated seed pellets are manufactured. The manufactured seed pellets are put into the pelletizer, one or more selected from a group consisting of rheum coreanum extracts and hydrogel are put into the pelletizer, and secondly coated seed pellets are dried.
