The dishwasher (1) has a washing portion (10) washing items, where the washing portion is limited on sides by a rear wall (3), side walls (4, 5), a ceiling wall (6), a bottom wall (7) and an inner wall (9) during washing process. Washing surface walls are formed with polar polymer layers (11a-11f). A control device controls an electric field steered by a field generation device based on a course of the washing process, where the electric field acts as the polar polymer layer. The polar polymer layer is arranged between a washing layer and an insulating layer. The insulating layer comprises a bitumen layer and an airscarf insulating layer i.e. textile layer such as non-woven fabric layer.
