The cleat (10) has a set of arms (28-1, 28-2) attached to a support (14). The support is provided with a plate (12) e.g. horizontal plate, comprising two feet (16-1, 16-2), and the arms are pivotally mounted relative to axes (26-1, 26-2) of the feet. Each arm is provided with a distal portion and a proximal portion. Weight of each distal portion is greater than weight of the proximal portion such that moment generated by gravity tilts each arm outwardly from distal portions in a stable position. The proximal portion is provided in total continuity in a standby position.
